I am passionate about small business, non-profit work and always using my skills to further causes that are bettering society and our planet.
Working on a variety of projects allows my curiosity to flourish and my skills to be constantly challenged and sharpened. It's a good thing I look fantastic in hats because on the daily you'll find me wearing lots of different ones. From social media, to content writing, photo-styling, blogging, basic web development, marketing strategy, event planning, presence synchronization, photography, etc. I am in love with using persuasion to move consumer dollars and community action towards worthy organizations & causes.
Below you'll see a variety of work I've done, from fashion styling to expo production, all the way to senior photo-sessions.

CLIENT: Two Pony Gardens
Project: Director of Communications & All Things Internet
Starting in May 2015 I was contracted to handle all things internet at this delightful, small farm in Long Lake, MN.
Working with Lisa Ringer to help promote the services of her farm is some of the most rewarding work that I get to do. If I am stiff and sick of answering emails I can run out to the garden to weed the dahlias or it might be Saturday night with a full blown Pizza Night going on so I'm snapping pictures and helping kids hold goslings for their first time. It might be Thursday at noon and the kids from Southside Family Charter might be visiting so I am supervising kitchen activities or helping to play pollinator friendly wild grasses. I might be answering questions for journalists or brides who want to host their special day at Two Pony. I might be engulfed in Oak (the puppy) and all of his adorableness, so of course I Instagram him far too often. I believe in the magic of this place, I believe in Lisa and I know she believes in me and together we've been able to accomplish a lot. Marketing this place is not a job, it is satisfactory, fulfilling, spirit work and I am glad to do it! <3 KP

During my time as Sol Inspiration's Associate Director I produced 5+ Fashion Network Happy Hours at various venues around the Twin Cities. It was a gathering of all professionals in the fashion world, engaging, connecting and making things happen. I also did the graphic design for the promotional material, a Facebook cover image, shown above.

CLIENT: Minnesota Bride Magazine
Project: Production & Styling of BEST OF 2012
Role: Styling Assistant (working under Hollie Mae of HM Styling)
Shooting at the Semple Mansion was a great experience, the backgrounds make the shot and if that's not enough our model was perfect, beautiful and poised. My main duties the day we shot this was load in all of the dresses, a major feat because the world's slowest elevator was involved. I also organized all of the product and merchandise for the shoot, I created the buffet for the entire production crew and I even assisted in creating the amazing afro that Ana Christina (of Ignite Models) is rocking throughout the spread.
